Embracing Self-Worth: A Personal Journey
Let's Talk About Self-Worth What does self-worth mean to you?
For me, it always circled back to "deserving." Do I deserve joy, love, and all the good things life has to offer? Should I accept praise with a sincere "thank you" or shrug it off, feeling unworthy?
Understanding our value is so tangled up with knowing ourselves. And from my heart to yours, and it turns out I'm not alone. Many of us shrug off compliments, brush off achievements, and feel like we're never quite enough. It's like we're programmed to believe we don't deserve the love and praise we receive.
I was right there with you, always the first to point out my flaws instead of celebrating my wins. Struggling with self-esteem, harsh self-criticism, and putting everyone else's needs before my own. It was a journey filled with self-doubt and the constant urge to please others, often forgetting what I needed most.

Recognising My Strengths Over My Weaknesses: A Game Changer
There was this lightbulb moment when I realised I was spending way too much time beating myself up over my flaws. It was like I had this magnifying glass on what I couldn't do, completely ignoring all the great stuff I could accomplish. So, I decided to flip the script.
Now, instead of getting hung up on where I fall short, I make it a point to give myself a high five for the things I'm good at and I feel awesome!
It's like, every little win—no matter how tiny it seems—builds up this momentum, pushing me closer to those big dreams of mine.
It's about giving myself some credit. Celebrating the journey, not just the destination.
Planting Seeds of Positivity in My Own Backyard I started to be my own best friend with self-compassion exercise, and it was a game-changer. I began doing it myself instead of waiting for someone else to cheer me on.
Every day, I would take a moment to appreciate the small stuff. Not just the big wins or the blessings that are easy to see, but also the effort I put into just... being me. The late nights, the early mornings, the times I chose kindness. I started celebrating the fact that I was trying, really trying, to be better every day.
